APPROXIMATE DURATION IN DESTINATION: 9 hours

Departure from the place of origin. Upon arriving in the city of J.B. Alberdi we will turn off towards provincial route N ° 308. We cross the Marapa river and immediately enter the La Cocha department. Otherwise, depending on the road conditions, leaving from La Cocha you can also take the production road, to arrive via Yanima, passing through a beautiful productive landscape. We arrive at the town of El Corralito where we will visit the Tinu Huasi archaeological museum, one of its nurseries and then

We will continue up the slope of 25, ascending to Cerro El Calvario. Later we continue to Villa Batiruana, where we will walk through the Energetic Forest, of low difficulty, where we discover the native vegetation and observe ancient trees, to later view a documentary of the Villa in the micro-cinema or have a snack at the house of Te Las Yungas or for those who wish to stay in this Villa that has a lot to offer, stay in some of the hostels or camping sites that are in the area. Then we will return to the place of origin.

DIFFICULTY LEVEL: LOW

APPROXIMATE DURATION: 3 hours

As an optional add-on, you can visit three waterfalls located in the vicinity of Villa Batiruana. Also known as “Saltos del Caburé”, going down to the foot of the hill, on the “Cuesta del Veinticinco”, we cross the Marapa river, we can see mortars and multiple archaeological remains throughout the area, and then we ascend in full yungas where you will soon find a first stepped jump, next to some stone walls. Then the waterfall stream is crossed through rocks and multiple pots of water for 7 times. We arrive at the second jump where there is a waterfall that, due to the erosion in the stone, falls diagonally.

Then it ascends steeper towards the third jump, being able to appreciate the beauty of nature.

 

Later we return to Villa Batiruana.

Departure at 8:30 pm from Villa Batiruana along the slope of Veinticinco to the Batiruana Dam (water mirror) in the Marapa River) we make a bonfire around the fire (with the necessary protocols) and we burn the wishes of each one in the beach. Then we will share myths and legends of the place.

APPROXIMATE DURATION IN DESTINATION: 4 hours.

 

It is done only in winter, which is the dry period of the year.

You leave from Villa Batiruana, go down to the river through the hydroelectric plant and go up the Marapa riverbed. Between rocks, you finally get to see the Escaba wall, and the Bat Cave. Then you return by the provincial route N ° 308 by vehicle.
